Text Sharpness Test
Text is one of the fastest ways to notice scaling and sharpness problems. A monitor can look bright and colorful but still feel tiring if fine text edges are fuzzy or fringed.
Check at your real viewing distance
Do not inspect only from very close range. Sit where you normally work and look for fuzzy strokes, uneven weight, or colored edges around black text.
Switch contrast and size
Black on white and white on black reveal different issues. Smaller sizes expose font rendering and scaling problems more quickly.
Check operating system scaling
If text looks wrong across all sites and apps, the problem may be display scaling, resolution, sharpness settings, or subpixel rendering rather than the panel itself.
