About
About Mekiki
Mekiki is a small screen testing tool made for practical visual inspection. The name comes from the Japanese word for a discerning eye: noticing what is really there instead of trusting a spec sheet alone.
What it is for
Mekiki helps you look for dead pixels, stuck pixels, uneven backlight, gradient banding, and text sharpness issues. It is useful for quick checks, not a replacement for professional calibration equipment.
Why it is simple
The first screen is the tool. There is no landing-page detour, account wall, upload flow, or complicated dashboard. A screen test should be immediate.
Text samples
The text clarity mode uses public-domain literary sources and plain mixed character samples so you can judge rendering across scripts and sizes.
SolidScreen
Mekiki belongs to the SolidScreen series: small browser tools for checking screens, pixels, and visual output.
